The Sony ZV-E10 II is equipped with a rear 3″ 1.04m-dot touchscreen LCD that flips out, making it effortless to capture selfies or film oneself. When recording, an integrated tally lamp surrounds the LCD with a red border. For vertical filming on platforms like TikTok or Instagram, the LCD screen automatically adjusts to display information vertically. The camera features a directional 3-capsule microphone tailored for forward-directional audio capture, ideal for vlogs and interviews, with a dedicated windscreen to reduce outdoor filming distortions. It also includes 3.5mm microphone and headphone ports for advanced audio recording, while the Multi Interface Shoe enhances audio capabilities by supporting a digital audio interface that reduces noise during recording and eliminates cable clutter when using compatible shoe-mounted mics.

Connectivity and Live Streaming

The ZV-E10 II features a micro-HDMI video output and a USB-C port for data output. These ports enable easy video sharing to a computer or compatible mobile device. For live streaming to social media, you can utilize either the USB-C port or the integrated 5 GHz WiFi. The USB-C port supports high-speed wired transfers to compatible devices via the Sony Creators App. The camera supports RTMP, RTMPS, and SRT streaming protocols, along with UVC standards, allowing it to function as a webcam.

Increased Phase Detection

The ZV-E10 II features a fast-hybrid autofocus system with 759-point phase detection and an AI processing unit that enhances subject recognition. Real-time Eye AF ensures precise focusing on human or animal eyes for sharp portraits. Activated by half-pressing the shutter button, you can select to prioritize either the right or left eye. Real-time tracking employs AI algorithms to automatically detect and follow moving subjects. With Face/Eye Priority AF enabled, this tracking mode continuously tracks the subject’s eye or face in real-time, adjusting as the subject moves.

4K Video Recording

Sony offers UHD 4K video recording at up to 60p, utilizing full pixel readout and 5.6K oversampling for enhanced detail with minimized moiré and aliasing. It supports Full HD 1080p recording at frame rates up to 120 fps. Both resolutions leverage the 600 Mb/s XAVC HS and XAVC S-I formats with 4:2:2 sampling. With the NP-FZ100 battery, it now offers approximately 610 shots per charge, marking a 30% increase compared to its predecessor.
