Sony introduced the ZV-E1 camera, a compact, lightweight, interchangeable-lens camera ideal for vloggers. Sony’s 12.1MP Exmor R image sensor is ideal for 4K resolution and is designed to provide the best possible image quality. It features a 10-bit 4:2:2 capture rate and is ideal for recording in all formats. The ZV-E1 also has an AI processor that can recognize and track subjects accurately. Dynamic active mode and 5 Axis In-body image stabilization are included for stable recording. AI-based auto framing can automatically highlight your subject and optimize the depth of field for groups or selfies. The ZV-E1 can also be a high-quality webcam for online work or live events. It can connect to a computer or smartphone using USB. The ZV-E1 utilizes the Bionz XR engine, which can process up to 4K 60p videos. It also supports up to 120p recording.

Dedicated AI Processor 

The ZV E1 utilizes an AI processing chip to improve its subject recognition by 60%. It can also recognize the movement in photos and can track subjects who are wearing masks. Auto Framing is a feature built into the ZV E1 that uses AI to automatically adjust the frame to emphasize a subject. Even while using a tripod, this adjustment is performed continuously to make the photos look like they were taken by a professional photographer.

Technology 

The ZV-E1 features a zoom lever on the top of the grip that can be used with powered zoom lenses. It can also be used with unpowered prime and non-powered zoom lenses to reduce the number of cameras needed for a shoot. With the Intelligent 3 Capsule microphone, users can capture clear audio, including their main subject’s voice. It can be set to Front, Rear or Auto depending on the mode used.

Video 

With the ability to create cinematic videos, users can choose the look and mood that they want to portray. The 24 frames per second (fps) and the widescreen cinemascope aspect ratio (2,35:1) help enhance the overall feel of the footage.Movies can be directly replayed in slow or quick motion in the XAVC S I format with a maximum bit rate of 600Mbps, which is significantly higher than the 4K60p recorded with other formats. Users can also get up to 10x faster slow motion with the Full HD resolution of the XAVC S format.

Compatibility 

The ZV E1 is also compatible with Sony’s E Mount system, which allows users to use various E-Mount lenses. Its choice of focal lengths gives users exceptional creative control.
