The X-H2 features a 40MP APS-C-format sensor that’s ideal for capturing detailed images. Its improved low-light performance and increased resolution make it an ideal choice for landscape and architectural photographers. As an X-Trans sensor, the X-System’s unique color filter array helps minimize moiré and provides a more natural and balanced color rendering. Its built-in design also helps reduce noise and improve image quality. Its ability to handle high-speed shooting applications also helps minimize motion distortion and roll-over noise.

X-Processor 5

The X-System’s new processor, the X-Processor 5, is capable of delivering 3x faster performance when it comes to capturing video and photos than the X-T4. Its built-in 64-bit processing helps boost video recording at up to 720p.

The quick processing helps photographers capture moving subjects in a more accurate and faster manner. With an electronic or mechanical switch, shooting at up to 20 frames per second can be achieved with a buffer of over 200 unbroken raw frames. Its mechanical and electronic versions can also shoot upwards of 1,000 raw frames in a single burst.

The 64-bit processing helps boost the performance of both stills and video applications. It also features an AI-backed autofocus system that’s designed to help achieve a 14-stop dynamic range.

4K 120p and 8K 30p Internal Recording

The X-H2 is a professional video system that can handle 4K at 30 frames per second and up to 240 frames per second in Full HD. It also supports various codecs, such as H.265 and H.422. Its internal recording can be extended up to 240 minutes using an external clip-on. In addition, continuous recording can be done at up to 160 minutes with the included clip-on fan, and it can be used with different frame rates and resolutions.

Improved Autofocus and Image Stabilization

The X-System’s new processor has helped improve the performance of its autofocus system, which is now sensitive to -7 EV in low-light conditions. It also features a hybrid focusing system that uses 425 phase-detect points to help it capture even more subjects. Its AI-based algorithm is designed to help automatically detect and track various types of subjects.

Pixel Shift Multishot

Body Design

The X-System’s large electronic viewfinder features a 5.76m-dot resolution and an 0.8x magnification for clear and detailed images.

The rear 3.0-inch LCD has a high 1.62 million dot resolution and a Touch ID for easy control. Its vari-angle design also allows it to be tilted and rotated to the side or down to provide additional protection. 1.28″ monochrome LCD screen on the top plate is a simple means for quickly reviewing shooting settings.

The NP-W235 lithium-ion battery pack can provide up to 720 frames per charge when used with the X-System’s EVF in either Normal or Economy mode.

The dual memory card slots feature a CFexpress Type B and a SD UHS-II slot for convenient file-saving. The former is ideal for shooting high-speed continuous videos and videos with greater bitrates, while the latter is ideal for less demanding tasks.

Film Simulation Modes

The X-System’s Film Simulation mode lets users reproduce the look and feel of various of Fujifilm’s film types, such as Velvia, Provia, Classic Chrome, Nostalgic Neg., and Pro Neg. It can also adjust various other effects such as the Grain Effect and the Color Chrome to create a more accurate and vibrant image.
