Multi-Focus System 

A multi-focus system with two motors helps realize fast and accurate focus performance, while also providing a quiet and fast focus response. It can be used for video and stills applications. In addition, its Vibration Reduction feature helps minimize the appearance of the camera shake when shooting with handheld devices.

This lens features a unique physical design that includes an OLED panel for quick access to aperture and focus settings. It also has an assignable L-Fn button for easy adjustment of exposure and settings. A programmable control ring is additionally included for easy adjustments.

Two separate AF drive units are synchronized to provide fast and accurate focusing in the zoom range. This system utilizes stepping motors for a smooth and quiet performance. It is ideal for video and stills applications.

A dedicated internal focusing system is also used for fast and accurate focusing. This method only moves the lens groups during focusing, maintaining the overall length of the frame while promoting faster speeds.

Control Ring
