The ZEISS Batis is a 25mm f/2 wide-angle prime lens that’s ideal for Sony’s E-mount cameras. It features a broad field of view and is ideal for various applications, such as architecture, landscape, and reportage. Its bright f/2 maximum aperture helps you shoot in low-light conditions and makes it ideal for capturing images with great detail. Aspherical and partial dispersion elements are utilized in an optical design to minimize distortion, color fringing, and other aberrations for achieving clear, vivid, and accurate images. A floating elements system with an improved ZEISS T* coating is also used for consistent performance. The Batis-series is distinguished by its OLED display, which highlights the depth of field range and focus distance, allowing you to quickly determine your focusing requirements. As an advanced lens, it utilizes a linear motor for smooth and quiet operation, and it can be used in both video and stills applications. In addition, the lens body is equipped with a moisture- and dust-sealed design to allow you to use it in challenging environments.

A wide-angle lens is ideal for Sony E-mount cameras. It can also be used on APS-C models with a focal length of around 37.5mm. Its bright f/2 maximum aperture helps with low-light shooting and provides additional control over the depth of field. The dual-coated aspherical elements of the lens provide excellent image quality and are ideal for capturing high-quality images from edge-to-edge. In addition, they help minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations, as well as color fringing and distortion. ZEISS has applied a T* antireflective coating to each element of the lens, which helps minimize reflections and enhance the color fidelity and contrast of photos. The floating elements system helps maintain a consistent image quality across the entire range of focus, from 7.9 to infinity. An OLED display on its top surface displays the working focus range and depth of field, and this helps users quickly identify the parameters of their focus when shooting in low light. The lens features a linear motor for fast and quiet operation, and it can be used with a variety of cameras. Its rubber ring for manual focus provides additional tactile control, and it’s weather-sealed for shooting in adverse conditions.
